Yes it would be very politically incorrect, but it may be acceptable for Romney to organize "Mormons for Romney."
White people in the US, or anywhere in the West are not allowed to organize like minorites do lest they be labeled "White supremacists" by phony "civil rights" groups like the SPLC.
But as to why, it is never really explained.
